As the women of Green Hills, we aim to welcome women of all ages and life stages with open arms, connect them to God and others, equip them to live out God’s purpose for their lives and send them out to share Christ’s love with their communities and the world.
This year our theme is Be Known and our key verse is Hebrews 10:24-25, “…let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” We desire for the women in our church to be known – not only attending Sunday services, but to feel a part of the church family.
The first Thursday night of every month are “Be There Thursdays”. We get together at 7pm to pursue community and Christ together! These are casual gatherings and a great place to bring your friends, those part of our church and brand new!
Every month (except June, July, and August) we offer a weekly Women’s Bible Study on Wednesday nights from 6:30- 7:30 pm in Room 102. This is a great opportunity to hear rich Bible teaching through video lessons from women like Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, and others, along with small group discussions with the other women of our church.
Connect with us on Facebook at the Green Hills Women’s Ministry Page. We look forward to getting to know you!
Current Wednesday Night Bible Study
Ladies, join us for our Fall Bible Study, “No Other Gods” by Kelly Minter. Video, discussions, and brief but thoughtful homework help us get to know ourselves, God, and each other. “We often think of idols as ancient golden calves, but we still battle idolatry every day.” Come Wednesday nights from 6:30- 7:30 pm in Room 102 as we rediscover that Jesus can do what no other “god” can.
