Family Ministries: Everyone Growing Together

Ministries at Green Hills

Green Hills is a multi-generation congregation that highly values family, both the individual family unit as well as the church family. We believe that every person, regardless of age or marital status, has a place and a unique purpose within the body of Christ and that we are called to help build one another up as we all grow in our faith… together.

It is for this reason that our ministry team works to create opportunities of discipleship, fellowship and service for the building up of the family as well as the individuals who make up our church family. Here you will find ministry events and trainings all year long. Please consider how we can serve you and how you can serve the family….and as we serve and grow together don’t forget to hashtag #allintheGHfamily

Children’s Ministry

In our Children’s ministry we come alongside parents in the discipling of their children. We engage our kids with the gospel in a fun and age-appropriate way, through Sunday School lessons, Awana, and fun, family-oriented events. All our leaders are pre-screened and trained to serve our children and their families.

Student Ministries

Our Student Ministries are a great opportunity for students in 7th- 12th grade to have fun, build meaningful relationships, and, most importantly, grow closer to God. We desire to meet every student where they are and point them to Christ. We do this through Bible lessons, small group discussions, service projects, fun monthly events, and more. We have dedicated, pre-screened, and trained adults leaders who walk alongside students in their journey.

Men’s Ministries

The Men’s Ministry is a band of brothers taking seriously the command to make faithful followers of Jesus Christ. To provide opportunity for this kind of intentional growth we have various Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship, a monthly breakfast and our annual retreat.

Women’s Ministry

As the women of Green Hills, we aim to welcome women of all ages and life stages with open arms, connect them to God and others, equip them to live out God’s purpose for their lives, and send them out to share Christ’s love with their communities and the world.

Senior Adult Ministries

Senior adults are an important part of our church. Our senior adult ministry strives to instill a deeper walk with Christ in an environment of positive encouragement, sincere concern, and personal ministry to the needs of senior adults, as we also utilize the wisdom, example, and experience of our seniors to influence the next generations toward Christlikeness.

Korean Ministry

In 2010 a small group of Korean believers came to our church with a vision to plant a Korean speaking church in this community. We joined together as one body and saw the benefit of adding this group into our already multi-ethnic church. Now there is a growing community who worships in Korean every Sunday, followed by a weekly lunch fellowship and small groups for people to grow closer to God and each other.
